BART and Photo Journal

Went to the Giants game tonight. Left by the 7th inning though. They won by the way, 4-2 against Arizona. Too bad we didn't see it. They were down 2-1 Arizona when we left. Lee wanted to go home because he knew I wasn't feeling too well. Didn't go to work because of this.

Took BART today since Lee took the car to work. I had the tickets to the game, and it would be too late if he went home to pick me up and drove back there again. Besides, gas is expensive. So I took BART. I haven't taken the BART in so long. I hate BART. You see wierd and/or annoying people. Never fails.

I walked to the Colma BART station. Took me 12 minutes. I timed it because I've always wondered how long it would take to walk there, since I've been considering taking BART to work instead. However, it did occur to me that IF we do take BART, that's $3.10 one way, $6.20 round trip, so that's $62 for me and Lee A WEEK! We gas up only once a week, and spend between $40-$45. It's actually cheaper to drive to work! Plus the amount of time it will take is about the same. If we leave early enough, it takes about 20-30 minutes driving, even with traffic. On weekends and holidays, it's actually less than 20 minutes. Taking BART takes longer. So that's a NO on BART then.

Anyway, when I got to Colma, I just missed the last train, and the next train was in 7 minutes. So I patiently waited, and called Lee to tell him what my ETA was. So I was standing there, looking all cute with my Giants gear on (hahaha), when this guy just came up to me and said:

Wierd guy: Hola!
Me: Hola *smiles and turns away*
Wierd guy: *talks in Spanish*
Me: Uuhh, no spanish
Wierd guy: Oh, sorry. Only English?
Me: *nods*
Wierd guy: *smiles*
Me: *walks away*

Thankfully he sat on the other side of the train. However, MY side of the train was even MORE annoying! There were these 2 guys and 2 girls, who apparently were coworkers on their way to watch a movie in downtown, and they were just talking and laughing... LOUDLY. I was sooooooooooooo irritated. Especially with one of the girls' voices. Ugh! Her voice was this really annoying sound! When we first entered the tunnel, you know how all you hear is the loudness of the train going really fast? Well, she tried to talk OVER that sound. That bitch was hurting my ear! So I covered my ears and GLARED at them. Like, SHUT THE FUCK UP! They didn't get it though. She kept doing it everytime the train left a station, and I was glad they got off 3 stops before me. At least I got to enjoy the rest of the ride.

On a lighter story, tonight, I found this great photo journal. Got the link from Ayien, who posted it on Judith's page. I thought, besides blogging, what a genius way to document your daily life!

The big question is, will I be able to commit to taking pics daily and posting them on flickr? Especially around February-August of next year, when we get SUPER busy at work? When all I wanna do is sleep when I get home? From this point on, I guess we will see...
