25 Random Things

As seen on my facebook notes:

1. I recently realized (after reminiscing with my aunt who grew up with me) that I was sort of a bully when I was younger. Only to some people though, generally I liked my friends, but I did like making some kids cry.

2. I hate fresh tomatoes. The taste of it makes me throw up. I don't mind it as a sauce, ketchup, sundried, or sometimes, even as a soup. The seeds are just yucky!

3. When I was younger, I had a crush on the "Black Prince", which is the antagonist in my fave TV show growing up: BIOMAN. I don't remember how he looked like, and I tried googling him but can't find it anywhere.

4. My other fave TV show when I was little was SHAIDER (love them Japanese shows!) My mom used to say he was gay.

5. My great grandmother was the daughter of a Sultan in Mindanao, Philippines. I could've been a Muslim princess.

6. I'm the only child, but I have 4 half siblings. I've only met 2 of them.

7. I had a "pen-pal" when I was 9 years old. We wrote to each other at least a couple of times a month or more. We never met, but I feel like she's an old childhood friend. She's on my friendster now.

8. I'm allergic to crabs. As in, breaking out in hives, stomach pain, itchy throat, the works... I still take my chances.

9. I love anything Harry Potter. I mean, like, the unhealthy kind of LOVE. I think obsession is the more proper term.

10. I write poetry, but only when inspired or hurt or when someone asks me to. I have lots of Harry Potter "shipper" poems. Geek!

11. I recently jumped on the TWILIGHT bandwagon. But it doesn't compare to my first obsession.

12. When I was about 6 years old, our puppy - who hasn't been vaccinated yet - accidentally dug his teeth on my knee while I was playing with him. I never told my mom. Think I have rabies?

13. I love cats. Specifically, I love MY cat. He's my baby! He's different with me than other people he encounters. He wants me to carry him and hug him and squeeze him and of course, he wants food. He's sweet but he does bite when irritated. He's just like me...

14. When I was 12 years old, I fainted in the middle of our Flag Ceremony in school. I was sick, I had 1000mg Tylenol, no breakfast, hot day, hello ground!

15. I kept a diary from the time I was 13 until I was 14 or so. Found it recently, and I never realized how in love I was with a boy named JON BELL. Ew!

16. I can't get into reality shows. I watch certain episodes here and there, but I can't get into it. I think it's trash.

17. I love THE SOUP. Joel McHale is funny.

18. My new discovery - HOUSE. Never realized it was a good show until about 2 months ago. Now I'm recording all reruns so I can watch from the beginning.

19. If you asked my 5 year old self what I wanted to be when I grew up, I would've answered, "Cashier" or "Flight Stewardess". High hopes eh?

20. My boyfriend recently bought a ukulele, and I'm finally learning to play an instrument!

21. I once sang in front of 1,300 people. Talent show, Carnival Cruise 2004. Not too scary since it was dark and you can only see the bright lights.

22. I miss eating ISAW (if you don't know what it is, Google it.)

23. I never had the chicken pox. Regardless of how much I was exposed when I was little, I never caught it. Maybe the secret to the antivirus is in my blood? (Think "I AM LEGEND")

24. I prefer Pepsi over Coke. There IS a difference. Pepsi tastes better.

25. I have little patience when it comes to teaching. I hate it when people "don't get it". I give props to all teachers for their patience, and I know I'll never be one. Kids will get hurt.
